We will make sure Buhari wins in 2019 - South west group

- A group in the south west has promised to help campaign for Buhari in 2019 - The group said it would ensure the president's re=election like it did in 2015 - It described Buhari as the only one who can reposition the country The newly inaugurated South-West office of the President Muhammadu Buhari 2019 Campaign Organisation has promised to make sure the president is re-elected. The Punch reports that the group made this vow on Monday, August 7 as it inaugurated its office in Ibadan, Oyo state while also appointing coordinators for the six states in the zone.  Danladi Pasalli who is the national coordinator of the organisation noted that it played a strong role in Buhari’s 2015 victory and promised to repeat the same for 2019. “We all know that the birthplace of this organisation is here in the South-West, it was nursed and brought up here. “The South-West have always supported the president whose pious concern is to reshape Nigeria and free it from all forms of unpatriotic activities. “Buhari is concerned with putting the country in a proper and realistic system so that the future of the next generation is guaranteed.” He said President Buhari was making tremendous recovery in London and would soon return to Nigeria. “The organisation would, as part of its strategy to woo voters, assist farmers to get direct loans from the Central Bank of Nigeria.” Ahmed Ajibade who is the patron of the group said that even if President Buhari is too weak to campaign for 2019, the group would do it for him and make sure he emerges victorious.  He said: “We will not allow those who will suffer (sic) Nigerians to get to the throne, the masses will not allow them. “Everybody must rise in support of the president in his effort to transform Nigeria into a country of our dreams. “Buhari stands for honesty, simplicity and he is straightforward. He is the only one that is capable of transforming the country at this crucial time.” Meanwhile, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state made his ambition known to one day rule the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the president or vice president. Fayose, in an interview with Punch said although he has never predicted his presidency, he is sure that he will one day occupy the Aso villa. He went further to claim that those mocking him now will someday visit him in Aso Rock.
