10 BIGGEST TRANSFER STORIES LIKELY TO HIT THE HEADLINES THIS SUMMER

Ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window, the football fraternity is anticipating major moves of valuable players between major football clubs across the globe. This is normally important news for millions of football fans as well as sports betting entrepreneurs running any major Portal for Online Betting since the nature of transfers affects the betting industry too. We take a cursory look at ten of the biggest transfer stories, from the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga and beyond, which are likely to dominate the media headlines this summer.
1)Liverpool Eyes Ox
Besides their move for Mohamed Salah, Liverpool is said to be eying Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The move is believed to cost anything around £30 million in spite of the fact that the England midfielder has 12 months to go on his contract at the Emirates. Chelsea is also rumoured to be interested in Oxlade-Chamberlain but the Arsenal star would add more pace and depth to the Reds as they make their return to the Champions Leagues.
2) Mou Roots for a Record-breaking Kane Bid
This is poised to be the biggest in this
summer’s headline transfer stories since the special one has asked Manchester United to go on a spending rampage and splash a whopping £100 million for the maverick Spurs striker Harry Kane and forget about Cristiano Ronaldo. The record bid is likely to bring a change of heart to Tottenham, who have been unwilling to entertain any offers for their lead man.
3)Arsene Wenger Eyes Martial
Apparently, Wenger has Manchester United forward Anthony Martial in his crosshairs, if he misses securing Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe. There is a big likelihood that Arsenal may miss out on their number one target to the Spanish giants Real Madrid, hence the consideration of Martial and Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette as alternatives.
4)Ronaldo Not Top Priority To Manchester United
Real Madrid’s Christiano Ronaldo is not at the top of Jose Mourinho’s wish list this summer. The Red Devils boss spelt out his top priorities to Ed Woodward before the season’s conclusion and Ronaldo has not featured anywhere even though Real has opened a door for his summer move from the club.
5)West Ham Salivates for Walcott
West Ham are in the process of launching a £25 million bid for sensational Gunners’ striker Theo Walcott. The Arsenal forward and English international missed out in Gareth Southgate’s side towards the end of last season. The Hammers are now set to grant him regular play time.
6)Liverpool Have to Part With £70m to get Van Dijk
The Reds are not ready to let go of their bid for Virgil van Dijk even after being told by Southampton that the Dutchman will only go at a whopping £70 million. Liverpool initially claimed to have put on hold their interest in the Southampton centre-half after they were accused of applying an illegal approach. However, Jurgen Klopp seems keen on sealing the deal.
7)Madrid Not Ready for Ibrahimovic
Real Madrid has declined any possibility of taking in Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a temporary contract. The Swedish superstar has been released from Old Trafford and is likely to move to Major League Soccer, though his hopes are that he remains in Europe and his first wish was that the La Liga champions would strike a deal to take him in.
8)Chelsea’s Azpilicueta in Exchange for Alex Sandro Deal
The Blues are ready to offer Cesar Azpilicueta to Juventus partly in exchange for Alex Sandro if at all the cash offer proves to be insufficient. Chelsea are prepared to sign a €70 million contract for the Brazilian full-back, though Juve can only grant a move if the player is ready for it.
9)Varane Willing To Stay With Real
Apparently, Rapahel Varane has been convinced to remain in Real Madrid in the face of increasing overtures from Manchester United. The France international has been assured of regular play by Skipper Zinedine Zidane.
10)Barkley Still Interested in Moving out
Everton’s Ross Barkley still wants to opt out of the club this summer. The England international, who has been linked with Tottenham and Arsenal, is convinced that a move will secure his place in the Three Lions fold.
