MAN UTD GET SANCHES BOOST
Manchester United have been handed a boost in their their pursuit of Portugal star Renato Sanches, according to The Sun.
Bayern Munich spent big on Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso, apparently making the teenager, who they signed from Benfica in 2016, expendable.
Jose Mourinho's side could now reap the benefit of a cut-price deal, with the cost of signing the youngster dropping to £23 million.



ZENIT TO PAY €70M FOR ROMA DUO
Zenit are on the verge of splashing out €70 million for Kostas Manolas and Leandro Paredes as the club looks to pull off a double swoop of the Roma stars, according to Football Italia.
Negotiations for Manolas were already in advanced stages, with the Russian side looking likely to spend €35-40 million on the Greece international alone, but the Argentine midfielder has now been given the all-clear to move to Zenit alongside him.


BAYERN COOL INTEREST IN ALEXIS
Bayern Munich are now focusing on Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco as their interest in Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has cooled off, according to L'Equipe .
The Bundesliga champions have been linked with Alexis, who is entering the final year of his contract at the Emirates, but now it appears the club are willing to pay €50 million for the Belgian instead.


ARSENAL LEAD RACE FOR LACAZETTE
Arsenal are prepared to pay up to €60 million in order to secure the services of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, L'Equipe reports.
The France international was on the verge of joining Atletico Madrid before the Liga outfit saw their transfer ban upheld, but he could be now be in line for a move to the Premier League instead, with Arsene Wenger keen to land the attacker.


LIVERPOOL ENTER MBAPPE RACE
Liverpool are plotting a bid for Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe should he prefer a move to England, according to the Daily Telegraph .
The likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal have all been linked with the France international, and the Reds will only make an offer should it materialise he wants to play in the Premier League.


NO UTD AGREEMENT FOR MATIC
Manchester United have dismissed claims that Nemanja Matic has agreed personal terms at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Telegraph .
Reports had claimed the Chelsea midfielder was close to reuniting with former manager Jose Mourinho, but they have been refuted by the Red Devils.


MAN UTD MAKE MARQUINHOS BID
Manchester United have made a €70 million bid for Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos, according to Globo Esporte .
The Red Devils have long been admirers of the Brazil international, but face competition from Barcelona and Juventus for his signature.


HUDDERSFIELD TO SMASH TRANSFER RECORD
Huddersfield are set to smash their record transfer fee with an £11.5 million bid for Montpellier striker Steve Mounie, according to the Daily Mail.
Mounie, 22, scored 15 goals for the Ligue 1 club in 2016-17 and has attracted interest Leicester City, West Brom and West Ham.
The newly-promoted club's current highest-ever fee paid was for German defender Christopher Schindler, bought for £1.8m.


DEMBELE WANTS DORTMUND EXIT
Ousmane Dembele wants to leave Borussia Dortmund following the sacking of manager Thomas Tuchel, according to Eurosport .
The France international does not want to join Barcelona, however, with Chelsea and Manchester United both now on alert as to his availability.


SPURS TO MAKE MEYER BID
Tottenham are set to make a £17.5 million bid for Schalke midfielder Max Meyer, according to The Sun.
The north London outfit were priced out of a deal for the Germany under-21 international last summer but his rejection of a new deal has made him more affordable.


CHELSEA CLOSE IN ON VAN DIJK
Chelsea are closing in on Southampton centre-back Virgil van Dijk, according to Sky Italia , in a deal worth around £60 million to the South Coast club.
The 25-year-old previously looked set to join Liverpool before the Reds were forced to pull out of the deal, leaving the door open for Antonio Conte to make his move.
Manchester City are also thought to be in the chase, though a big-money deal taking the Netherlands international to Stamford Bridge is making progress.


ARSENAL STILL KEEN ON €135M MBAPPE
Arsene Wenger will oversee a flurry of outgoings at Arsenal this summer which will allow him to make a sensational move for Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe, says the
Telegraph .
It was thought that the teenage striker had chosen Real Madrid as his next club having spoken with Zinedine Zidane, while Goal understands that Paris Saint-Germain have made an offer of around €135 million.
Arsenal, however, are refusing to give up the fight and are said to be willing to match the bid from Ligue 1 giants PSG.
