The IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu has revealed why 2019 election may not hold in South-east - He asked the Igbos to boycott the election if federal government failed to restore Biafra - Kanu also noted that there would be no vote for any President, Senator, or House of Reps member in 2019 The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Tuesday June 20 in the presence of a mammoth crowed of IPOB members gathered in his father’s palace at Isiama Afara-Ukwu Ibeku Umuahia, the Abia state capital, told all Igbos to boycott both the November 2017 gubernatorial election in Anambra state and the 2019 general election should the Federal Government fail to do nothing about restoration of Biafra. New Telegraph reports that in what seem like a reaction to the statement made by the Acting President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo that agitation for secession is against the constitution of Nigeria, the IPOB leader urged the Federal Government to build as many prisons as possible, because according to him, all Biafrans shall be going there unless the government gives them we gathered that Kanu, who spoke before the mammoth IPOB crowd who defiled a heavy downpour and stood tirelessly chanting their songs for close to three hours, urged all his followers to excuse themselves from both the forthcoming November gubernatorial election in Anambra State and the entire 2019 election if Nigeria fails to do something.
I’m preaching this gospel, that if the ‘zoo’ doesn’t do anything, and give a date for our referendum, come November this year, there will be no governor in Anambra State. In 2019, the whole of Biafra Land will not vote for any President. There will be no Senator, there will be no House of Reps, there will be no House of Assembly and there will be no councillors,” he said.
