ALL ARSENAL FC TRANSFER NEWS



NORTH LONDON BATTLE FOR KOVACIC
Arsenal and Tottenham are both in the running to sign Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic, according to Diario Gol .
Neither club has yet made a bid for the Croatia international, who is also interesting Roma, AC Milan and former club Inter.


ARSENAL MAKE KJAER BID
Arsenal have made a €12 million bid for Fenerbache defender Simon Kjaer, according to TurksVoetbal.
The Gunners are set to face competition from both AC Milan and Inter, though the Turkish club are unlikely to accept anything less than €15m.


BELLERIN WANTS BARCELONA
Hector Bellerin hopes Barcelona will continue to try to sign him from Arsenal after talks with president Josep Maria Bartomeu, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Catalan side have been heavily linked with the right-back, but his long-term commitment and importance to the Gunners complicates a deal. But the Spaniard is hoping for a return to the Catalan side and will discuss the idea with Arsene Wenger, the newspaper reports.


LYON WANT GIROUD-LACAZETTE SWAP
Lyon have begun talks with Arsenal over an exchange between Olivier Giroud and Alexandre Lacazette, Le10 Sport say .
Lacazette was set to join Atletico Madrid, but their transfer ban has ended the possibility, and Arsenal are hopeful of capitalising on it and snapping up their long-term target.
Giroud is being pursued by West Ham , but a move back to France may be more alluring as Lyon are hoping to add him to part of the deal.


ARSENAL KEEN ON SMALLING
Arsenal are among those keeping a close eye on Chris Smalling's situation at Manchester United, reports The Sun.
With the Red Devils having put a deal in place for Victor Lindelof, they are expected to freshen up their defensive ranks - with West Ham also keen on England international Smalling.



LACAZETTE TO COST ARSENAL £60M
Arsenal have held fresh talks with Lyon over a deal to sign France international striker Alexandre Lacazette this summer, according to the Daily Telegraph .
Lacazette, who has also been linked with Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United, will cost an initial €55 million (£48.7m) along with €12m (£10.6m) in add-ons.


EVERTON AGREE £30M PICKFORD DEAL
Everton have agreed a £30 million deal with Sunderland to sign England Under 21 international goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, according to Sky Sports .
Pickford has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester City following Sunderland’s relegation from the Premier League, but Everton are aiming to win the chase for his signature.


CITY READY LUCRATIVE ALEXIS OFFER
Manchester City are prepared to make Alexis Sanchez the highest-paid player in the history of the club, reports the Daily Star .
Pep Guardiola is in the market for attacking reinforcements and is looking to put a £275,000-a-week deal in place for Arsenal's Chile international.


ARSENAL IN HUNT FOR CALHANOGLU
Arsenal are aiming to beat Premier League rivals Chelsea to the signing of Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, according to Aksam.
Chelsea have previously shown an interest in Calhanoglu, but now Arsenal and Lazio are looking to agree a deal in the region of €20 million (£17.6m) with Leverkusen.


CSKA MIDFIELDER CLOSES ON ARSENAL DEAL
Arsenal are aiming to finalise the £10 million signing of CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin, according to a report from Sports.ru .
Golovin has previously been mooted as a target for Chelsea, but is now wanted by Arsenal, who could allow him to head straight back to CSKA on loan.


MAHREZ WAITS FOR BARCELONA
Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez is waiting for Barcelona to make an offer as he looks to leave the 2016 Premier League champions, according to Sport.
Mahrez is reported to have an offer from Arsenal, along with interest from Chelsea, but he is keen to play in La Liga and is a target for Barcelona.
