LATEST TRANSFER UPDATES.
CHELSEA AGREE RUDIGER DEAL
Chelsea have come to an accord with Roma over the transfer of Antonio Rudiger, Sky Sports reports.
The Germany international has long been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge and looks set to soon complete the switch for a fee said to be in the region of £34 million.
The 24-year-old is yet to agree personal terms with the Premier League champions.
LIVERPOOL COOL BALDE INTEREST
Liverpool have cooled their interest in signing Keita Balde from Lazio following previous reports of a £30 million bid being rejected, claims Calciomercato.com .
AC Milan have also ended their eagerness to sign the forward, who is out of contract in a year’s time, while Juventus are reportedly still keen on Balde.
ARSENAL TO MAKE NEW LEMAR BID
Arsenal will make an improved offer for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar once they have completed the signing of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to the
Evening Standard .
Monaco have already rejected a €35 million bid from Arsenal for Lemar, who is valued at more than double that amount by the Ligue 1 champions.
If Arsenal are unable to convince Monaco to sell Lemar then Arsene Wenger will turn to Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez as an alternative signing.
MBAPPE LAYS OUT MADRID CONDITIONS
Monaco's Kylian Mbappe, football's hottest attacking prospect, has laid out his conditions for joining Real Madrid, according to a report by Spanish outlet
Diario Gol .
Despite being only 18 years old, the sought-after striker has made it clear that he will not accept a move unless he becomes one of Los Blancos' highest earners.
Mbappe is said to want wage parity with Gareth Bale, and will expect to be the club's second-highest-paid player behind Cristiano Ronaldo.
LYON EYE LACAZETTE REPLACEMENT
Lyon are lining up a move for Barcelona striker Munir El Haddadi to replace the Arsenal-bound Alexandre Lacazette, reports
Sport.
Barcelona had accepted a €15 million offer from Zenit St Petersburg for El Haddadi, but the player isn’t keen on a move to Russia.
Instead, Ligue 1 appears his most likely destination, with Lyon and Marseille interested amid reports Barcelona would now be prepared to accept €10m.
EVERTON BID FOR BENFICA STRIKER
Everton have lodged a €45 million bid for Benfica and Mexico international striker Raul Jimenez, Portuguese outlet
Record have claimed.
The 26-year-old is said to have been the subject of a €50m offer from a Chinese Super League club back in January and the Primeira Division side require the Toffees to meet that sum before they will agree to a transfer.
RENNES WANT CHELSEA STRIKER
Rennes have contacted Chelsea to ask what it would take to bring France international striker Loic Remy back to Ligue 1, according to L'Equipe .
Remy spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace and isn’t thought to have a long-term future at Stamford Bridge under Antonio Conte.
LIVERPOOL IN FOR ARGENTINE DEFENDER
Liverpool have lodged a £14.9 million bid in an effort to sign Emanuel Mammana from Lyon, The Sport Review claims.
The report claims Jurgen Klopp is keen to add reinforcements to his defensive line and is ready to offer the 21-year-old a five-year contract worth £2.8m per season.
The three-time capped Argentina international is said to be awaiting permission to discuss personal terms with the Anfield side.
COSTA SET ON ATLETI MOVE
Outbound Chelsea striker Diego Costa is hopeful of having his future resolved by the end of the week, the Mirror reports , with Atletico Madrid said to have prepared a training regime that will keep the Spain international fit while he sits out their transfer ban.
The Liga club are reported to be offering only £22 million plus add-ons for the striker, who has flat-out refused a move to China, representing a bid that would be less than three times the amount Chelsea could have recouped if Costa had agreed a move to the CSL.
SCHMEICHEL AN OPTION FOR UTD
Leicester City's Kasper Schmeichel could soon follow in his father's footsteps with a move to Manchester United, according to a report by The Sun.
The tabloid suggests the Foxes are looking to tie up a £20 million-plus deal for Gent and Croatia international goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic, which could pave the way for Schmeichel's exit.
Any deal, however, would hinge on whether David De Gea leaves Old Trafford during the summer transfer window.
NO LOAN FOR HART
Joe Hart will not be allowed to leave Manchester City on loan for the upcoming season, The Sun reports , with the club instead preferring to get the England international off their books for good.
West Ham and Newcastle are said to have lodged loan bids for the keeper, but Pep Guardiola's side feel the Premier League pair are capable of stumping up the rumoured £18 million it will take to buy him outright.
