Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has taken to social media to wish Alvaro Morata good luck ahead of his proposed move to Chelsea.
The decorated defender posted on Twitter yesterday to say goodbye to his club colleague and international teammate.
Sergio Ramos @SergioRamos
The tweet reads, “Moratoski, all the luck in the world. Enjoy your next step and continue scoring goals like you do. We will miss you”.
It was announced on ChelseaFC yesterday that the London club had reached an agreement for the Real Madrid ace.
There are few people in football who know more about what Morata is capable of than Ramos. Not only has he played alongside the 24-year-old during his two respective stints with Los Blancos, but they have both been involved together for the Spanish national team.
From a Chelsea perspective, we can all be in agreement with Ramos that we hope Morata finds the back of the net on a regular basis. For us to challenge for silverware both domestically and in Europe, we’re going to need to have him fit and firing on all cylinders.
