Club waiting for Man United to increase offer for 28-year-old winger – report

Inter Milan are waiting for Manchester United to increase their offer for Ivan Perisic from €40m to €50m before considering a deal, according to reports in Italy.
Gianlucadimarzio.com is reporting that the Red Devils’ current offer stands at around £35m, but that Inter Milan would only be willing to enter negotiations for a fee of around £44m.
The same report claims that Manchester United could be ready to include full-back Matteo Darmian as part of a deal for the Red Devils to sign Perisic this summer.
However, it now appears that the ball is firmly in Manchester United’s court as they continue to be linked with a deal for the 28-year-old Croatian winger.
Manchester United have been linked with a host of players this summer but have so far only completed a deal to sign defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica.
Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is likely to be keen for Manchester United to complete as many signings as possible before he and his team jet off to the United States for their pre-season tour later this month.
Manchester United are preparing for a return to the Champions League next season after their Europa League triumph last term.
